Why & What is Aramid Fibre?
Aramid fibre (Kevlar®) is a synthetic high performance fibre made up of a series of molecules in a rigid chain-like structure. These chains are linked by strong hydrogen bonds that allow for easy transfer of mechanical stress therefore making it possible to use chains of relatively low molecular weight. Aramid fibre is FIVE times stronger than steel, yet it can be thinner than a single strand of human hair.
By weaving together these strands of aramid fibre we are able to create products utilising all its following key strengths:

⇀ good resistance to abrasion
⇀ good resistance to organic solvents

Spot on. I am an engineer, and deal with these fibres daily at my workplace. I can assure any doubts that this is the real deal. Slightly on the slippy side BUT there is a nice soft texture to it. It you drop your phone from normal heights, this case will work perfectly. The selling point is the style of the case though! Just stunning! Will buy it again for the next revision of the S20, next year.

Love the Kevlar case! I spent a lot of money for my Samsung S20 Ultra, so I'll be damned to put a $2 plastic case for it. This Kevlar edition is amazing! Keeps the phone thin and doesn't add any weight to it at all. Shipping was prompt surprisingly, I would have though Covid-19 would have affected it. Love the grip the most, it's soft and has a nice texture, doesn't stick to any thing in my pocket at all. Perfect case.
